Basic Life Support (BLS) ADULT/CHILD/INFANT
Description: The Basic Life Support (BLS) Classroom Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.
The BLS CPR Class covers:
1. Adult, Child, and Infant CPR
2. Conscious and Unconscious Choking for victims of all ages
3. Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use and special considerations
4. Breathing Barriers, Bag Valve Masks, and 2 Rescuer CPR
5. Cardiopulmonary Emergencies and Special Resuscitation Situations
Heartsaver CPR/AED: In-Person Class (Adult/Child/Infant)
Description: Learn how to perform CPR on an adult, child, infant and know what to do if someone’s airway is obstructed. Students of Master Paving will also acquire the skills to use an AED (automated external defibrillator) and barrier device. Plus, there will be a discussion about the early signs of a heart attack, stroke and common risk factors. This course is for those required to obtain a course completion card for the workplace. Be abreast of sizzling hot free. A two-year American Heart Association certificate is issued to students who successfully pass the course.
Friends & Family CPR (Bystander Class)
Description: The Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only™ CPR, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR and relief of choking in an adult, child or infant. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment by using the AHA’s research proven practice while watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible. Family & Friends CPR is for people who want to learn CPR but do not need a course completion card in CPR for their job. No certification is given for this course.
Heartsaver First Aid In-Person Class
Description: This course is a video-based, instructor led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Heartsaver First Aid is designed to meet OSHA requirement and is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card to meet job, regulatory or other requirements. Upon completion of this course, students receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid card that is valid for 2 years.
Heartsaver First Aid & CPR/AED – Online & In-person Skills Check and Test
Description: Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online is a self-directed course that uses interactive lessons and videos to teach you comprehensive First Aid, CPR, and AED knowledge. This program is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs an AHA course completion card.
Once you begin the course, you can start and stop the course at your convenience until you have finished it at your own pace. You must complete the online course prior to the skills check/test you are registered for. Successful completion includes two parts. Skills sessions must be completed within 60 days of completing the online course.
